S.A. „Apă-Canal Cahul” hereby informs the public about the successful completion of the water supply network modernization works in the Lapaevca district—an essential project aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens. This intervention was planned for the network maintenance and modernization program, with the goal of optimizing drinking water distribution and preventing frequent leaks that previously affected the area.

🛠️ Technical details of the project:
Replacement of over 500 linear meters of old pipelines affected by corrosion and frequent losses;
Installation of control valves and inspection chambers for better hydraulic management;
Reconfiguration of the network to ensure balanced distribution throughout the district;
Restoration of roadways and sidewalks affected by the works.

💧 Immediate results and benefits:
Constant water pressure at the tap, including during peak consumption hours;
Elimination of frequent interruptions caused by breakdowns;
Increased energy efficiency in the pumping process;
Improved water quality delivered to over 120 households.

🔄 The works were carried out between March 18 and April 5, 2025, in partnership with the construction company „HydroMec”, in accordance with the action plan approved by the Cahul Municipal Council.
