The Municipal Enterprise “Apă-Canal Cahul” informs the public about the successful completion of the modernization works of the water supply network in the Lapa Evreiască neighborhood — a key project aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
This intervention was planned within the maintenance and modernization program of the network, aiming to optimize the distribution of drinking water and to prevent frequent leaks that previously affected the area.

🛠️ Technical details of the project:

• Replacement of over 500 linear meters of old pipelines affected by corrosion and frequent leaks;

• Installation of adjustment valves and control chambers for better hydraulic management;

• Reconfiguration of the network for balanced water distribution throughout the neighborhood;

• Restoration of the road surface and sidewalks affected by the works.

💧 Immediate results and benefits:

• Constant tap water pressure, even during peak consumption hours;

• Elimination of frequent interruptions caused by failures;

• Increased energy efficiency in the pumping process;

• Improved water quality delivered to more than 120 households.

🔄 The works were carried out between March 18 – April 5, 2025, in partnership with the construction company “HydroMec,” according to the action plan approved by the Cahul Municipal Council.
